So busy!

Well we made it through Ryan's first week of school without too many bumps along the way. Life has thrown us a fast ball and learning to adjust to it has been a little hectic. Our family has been is so use to going away during the week, being spontaneous, and not having so much to think about. Well that has changed 180 degrees for us. Now we have a strict schedule, need to plan out our days off together and think about what's due tomorrow! Ay yay yay. I'm usually a late riser and a night owl, adjusting to this new time schedule has been a slow process but doable.

We all get up at 6:30 am, get the kids dressed, fed and ready for school. We leave 7:25ish, later as the week went on, to find parking and walk Ryan to playground/class. Then go back at 1:15pm to find parking and wait for Ryan to get out of school at 1:55pm. On Weds, Mia has mommy & me class from 9-11am. On Monday & Wednesday evenings Ryan has soccer from 6-7pm and Tuesday & Thursday both kids have swim. I've definitely evolved into the Molleman taxi van company. On top of that, we gotta pay the bills around here so between Stephen and I we're off to work. How is this possible?

Not without the help of my parents and Stephen's parents could this be done. I"m so thankful for them and all they do. The saying is true, "It takes a village to raise a child". It truly does. And we're fortunate to have family around to do just that.

On a different note, it rained the other day out here and it reminded me of Thailand. The tropical thunder showers. It was so nice to have rain and not be so cold at the same time. We even let the kids out once the thunder was over so they can play in the rain. They got soaked and loved every minute of it! And of course, got some pics of it in the process.
