On Sunday, 7/20/08, was our first Cox company family picnic that we've ever attended and boy was it cool. Everything was free!! No admission. They even served free beer!!! Can you believe that? Anyway, we ate lunch, had dessert (ice cream sandwiches) and the kids got to jump in huge jumpers, ride on little kiddie rides, had their faces painted, and got balloons (a sword & crown). It was awesome. The weather was perfect. They even had an animal presentation on rain forest animals. There was a rock climbing wall and motion simulator ride that we didn't go on. Can you imagine? All this for a company party? How awesome!!! Needless to say we all had a blast.

So when we got home we were getting ready to swim in the pool and this is what we saw in our backyard:
Was this a crane? I thought it was. It was so beautiful. It's hard to tell because of the fence, but it was very pretty.
The Fay Family came over and we all went swimming and had a late dinner. The kids stayed up until midnight playing all kinds of games. It was really cute. Their infant, Elijah, was a trooper for staying over so late! He slept through a lot of the noise though ;)
